Liberty County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Keith Moran said investigators were “completing final interviews and getting ready to write the case” against a Riceboro couple involved in the death of 3-year-old Prince Davis, Jr.
The child's cousin Andrea Wilson, 35, and her boyfriend, Corey Brown, 38, both of Riceboro, were charged with murder and cruelty to a child on Jan. 19 after an autopsy report stated the toddler died from multiple blunt force trauma and malnutrition while in Wilson's care.
Previous reports said EMS was called to Wilson's home on Jan. 16 and found the child to be cold and unresponsive. He was taken to Liberty Regional Medical Center and was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. Wilson and Brown were denied bond on Jan. 22 and continue to sit in the LCRJ.
