SAVANNAH — David Michael Conner, a partner at the Savannah law firm of Bouhan, Williams & Levy LLP, has been appointed chairman for the Council on Litigation Management, a national organization dedicated to standardizing litigation practices and promoting integrity in claims handling, asset protection and legal defense pertaining to the insurance industry and corporate legal departments.
Conner, 39, practices primarily in Savannah and southeast. He was named a Georgia state chairman for the CLM in 2008, and he is a fellow in the CLM and the Litigation Counsel of America.
As chairman, Conner’s responsibilities include coordinating the other state leaders appointed by the CLM as well as identifying and recruiting additional companies within the state as new members.
Conner is a Jesup native, a graduate of Wayne County High School and serves clients throughout South Georgia from offices in Savannah and Jesup.
“It is a tremendous honor to be recognized by an organization as prestigious as the Council on Litigation Management,” Conner said. “I am proud to be a part of the leadership for this organization in Georgia, and I will work diligently to ably represent the CLM and its constituent members.”
