The Georgia DNR, WRD is accepting public comment on proposed changes to the hunting regulations for the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 seasons.  
Some of the proposed changes WRD will address include the need to increase either-sex days for white-tailed deer population management purposes, expand Georgia counties open to bear hunting, expand alligator season and regulate hunting on wildlife management areas.
Written statements may be submitted, prior to the close of business on May 9. Statements should be mailed to:
