Michelle Rogers and Travis Crowley were married at 4 p.m. May 16, 2009, on a bluff overlooking the Timmons River at the Dryden Estate on Colonel’s Island.
The Rev. John Hubbard officiated the ceremony while family and friends gathered to celebrate this special event.
The bride, daughter of Richard and Sylvia Rogers of Dacula, was given in marriage by both parents. Michelle is the granddaughter of Peggy Crumbley of Jasper, and the late Richard Baker and the late Susan Rogers, both from Dacula.
Jessica Hoover of Greenville, S.C., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Meghan Stanton, Colby Leggett, Kristina Higgins and Ashley Wages.
The groom, son of Michael and Debra Crowley of Hinesville, grandson of Jim and Mitzie Crowley of Hinesville, and Virginia Rozier and the late Harold H. Rozier Sr. of Walthourville, chose his brother, Stephen Crowley of Hinesville, to be his best man. Groomsmen were Ashley Sittle, Les Kennedy, Casey Burkhalter and Jason Blizzard.
Following the ceremony, a wedding reception for the couple was held on the grounds of the Dryden Estate.
After a honeymoon to Key West, Fla., the couple will live in Isle of Wight.
