Liberty County Extension Agent Robert Bell spoke at the May 5 meeting of the Goldenheirs Club.
He presented tips on planting and the care of grasses and other plants in this area. He said proper maintenance is essential to having a beautiful lawn and yard.
Goldenheirs are reminded that the June meeting will be Monday and Sara Ann Swida with Keep Liberty Beautiful will present the program.
John Stetzer, president of Goldenheirs, invites all seniors to the meetings, which are normally the first Tuesday of the month at First Baptist Church of Hinesville. A covered dish lunch is followed by a program.
