Arts on the Coast, a Richmond Hill nonprofit art organization, opened its fall art show with a reception Nov. 21 at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church.
The show was judged by Harry Delorme, head curator of the Jepson Center for the Arts in Savannah. Twenty-three artists entered the competitions with 55 art works.
Finis Ray Layton won best in show for his still life painting. Second place went to Erick Hartley for a black and white photograph of a Central Park foot bridge. Third place went to Steve Berg of Midway for his black and white photograph titled “Coca-Cola Window.” Linda Kennedy won an honorable mention for her mixed media work, “Marsh Grass Autumn.”
The art has been on display in St. Elizabeth’s education building, 16491 Highway 144, Richmond Hill.
