By Staff Report POSTED: February 17, 2007 5:06 a.m. Liberty County Commission Chairman John McIver, pictured with members of Nu Rho Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., signs a proclamation designating February 2007 as “Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Month”  in Liberty County.  This month kicks off a yearlong celebration that will culminate in Washington, DC as the sorority celebrates 100 years of service to the community.
