Panther men finish with a win

The veterans went out with a bang Friday on Senior’s Night at Liberty County High School as the boy Panthers pasted the South Effingham Mustangs.
It was a sluggish start for the Mustangs who only scored four points in the entire first period, while the Panthers put up 17.
The Mustangs rallied and brought the game within one point with 1:16 left in the second period. The offense of the Mustangs was led by no. 5 Bernard Wright and no. 3 Daniel Browning who kept the tree point shots coming.
he Panthers did take a two point lead to end the half 30-28.
It was not until midway through the fourth period, that the offense of the Panthers gained and maintained a steady lead. Michael Manning (no. 41) of the Panthers led the scoring drive for the Panthers with 24 points as the Panthers wrapped up the Mustangs with a 66-55 win.
