Those construction workers are there because they get the work done. Construction is hard work. The complainers want the pay, but not the work. I know from experience of trying to hire others.

The reason we see so many Latin workers working construction is they are the only ones who are not lazy and get jobs.

Why is it that places of employment are stressing they are not giving raises but you see constantly see upper management getting raises and promotions. It’s not fair. The ones under them do most of the work.

Why is Liberty County allowing drinking and smoking at the softball field around the children there? My young daughter should not be subjected to that.

With Shoney’s closed, we need a sit down place for breakfast. We don’t need these fast foods.

I want to know what is going on with the library. It’s the end of the school year and they’re closed? Now I have to drive my child up to Savannah to use the Armstrong library because it’s the closest one I know so he can finish a term paper for English.

I went to the so-called sale at the commissary and there was nothing cheap there. I could have found cheaper things at Walmart, Fred’s or Big Lots.

Yes, could the state please taper off the bridge on the Highway 19 East project? When you hit it going the speed limit it about busts your frontend out.

When is the uneven street on Gen. Screven in front of Blockbuster just before the red light going to be repaired?

The person talking about immigrants needs to get the facts straight. Puerto Ricans are Americans from the time they are born. And please don’t be hating on immigrants. They are good people, work hard and deserve a chance.

Millions of Native Americans were murdered or displaced in this country. Now some of them are returning home. You call it illegal immigration. I call it poetic justice.

Puerto Ricans are United States citizens. We are not here illegally.
