The United Way of the Coastal Empire and the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce will soon begin accepting applications for the 2007 Legend’s Community Program Grants.
Applications will be available on the United Way’s Web site,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   http://www.uwce.org www.uwce.org in mid July. Any non-profit organization in Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty counties may apply. The completed application must be received at United Way no later than 4:30 p.m. Aug. 31.
There will be four informational sessions concerning the Legend’s Community Program Grants. The sessions will be in the Conference Room of the United Way Building in Savannah at 428 Bull St.
The dates and times are:
Tuesday: 9-11 a.m.; Thursday: 3-5 p.m.; July 24: 9-11 a.m. and July 26: 3-5 p.m.
