Staff report POSTED: August 19, 2007 5:03 a.m. Liberty County’s public schools kick off their 2007-2008 school year today with open house on all campuses. Open house for Pre-kindergarten is from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and all the other grades have open house 3-6 p.m. Each school also hosts a separate open house later. Actual classes start Monday, and public safety authorities have cautioned drivers to be alert for increased traffic including school buses, parents and others transporting students to and from school, as well as students walking.
