Former Ludowici Police Chief McClelland dies

Former Ludowici Police Chief Frank McClelland Sr., 82, died Saturday after he was taken to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah with chest pain. McClelland served as the Ludowici police chief from 2000 through 2007. He retired with 31 years of law enforcement experience.
There will be a viewing for McClelland from 6-8 Monday, Dec. 27, at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home in Jesup.  McClelland’s body will be in First Baptist Church in Ludowici from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, and the funeral will be at 2 p.m.
