Our fishing has been real slow; however it looks like it is starting to improve.
I received some reports of good catches of sheephead this week from Rayburn Goodman of Yellow Bluff Fishing Camp and he has live fiddlers and live minnows.
These are the catches from the past weekend: Mike Bell fishing with Tony Bell and Billy and Allen Myrick, landed 30 sheephead, 20 pumpie and 50 black sea bass; Tony Phillips and party landed 40 black sea bass and 32 sheephead; Stan Kane and party went out for two days and caught 84 sheephead; John Rogers, fishing with Larry Wells, landed 22 trout.
The tides are good, and the water is clear, so take a fishing trip, and remember to always keep a tight line.
