The local results of the boys’ state track meet are as follows:
Liberty County High School
• Javon Bennett finished second in the discus throw with a toss of 165 feet, 2 inches.
Bradwell Institute
• Marsalis Jackson finished seventh in the long jump with a leap of 21-11 3⁄4.
• Anthony Holsendolph finished eighth in the high jump, clearing 6-2.
• Jamael Smith, who recently signed to run track at Chattahoochee Technical College, finished 14th in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 10 minutes, 28.41 seconds and 15th in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:42.
