Our coastal fishing is looking a little better, with fish being caught.
It is still hot, and I believe that is the reason that we are not having much activity by the fishermen.
However, I did receive a few fishing reports from Rayburn Goodman, operator of the Yellow Bluff Fishing Camp.
Goodman had several fishing reports for me this week. These are the first fishing reports that I have received this month.
Goodman reported: Robert Moody fishing with Bing Phillips landed 12 trout, seven flounder and three bass; Don Alison fishing with his wife caught eight trout, 12 whiting, and two flounder; Bryan Self fishing with Roger Boykin landed 11 trout, two flounder and two bass; Robert Moody landed 15 trout; and Roy Redman had seven trout.
Goodman reported we will be having good fishing tides until the last of this month, and he also reported that he has plenty of live shrimp and live minnows.
Just remember, if you do go fishing to always keep a tight line.
