The Liberty County Thunder 14U baseball team took first place in the Memorial Day Meltdown Wood Bat Tournament in Pooler. They are set to play this weekend in Statesboro.

The Liberty County Thunder 14U baseball team won the Memorial Day Meltdown Wood Bat Tournament this past weekend in Pooler.
According to coach Patrick Sammons, the games were close all weekend, but the Thunder boys came through with clutch hits, great pitching and defense to win it all.
The players said they would like to thank their families for all the support they have given them.
The Thunder will play this weekend in Statesboro.
