June 25: Police recovered small amounts of marijuana during a traffic stop at Frank Cochran Drive and South Main Street. The driver was pulled over for suspended registration and illegally transferred decals. During a search of his person, officers found a green leafy substance. The driver also was cited for driving without a license.

June 28
• One person was injured and another cited for aggravated assault with a knife after an altercation on Coalition Circle. The victim, suspect and another witness told police the argument began when the victim expressed romantic interest in the witness, a married female, on Facebook. A male friend of the female accompanied her to a home on Coalition Circle, where the victim was visiting someone, and a fight ensued.

• A woman was cited for aggravated assault after she and a man were spotted arguing on Azalea Street. They were stopped by a patrol officer and the man was found with an injury to the side of his face. After a witness helped police locate the weapon, a utility knife, the woman admitted to cutting the victim during the argument.
