Well my friends, the weather was not too bad and we had several fishermen from Yellow Bluff Fishing Camp.
Most of the boats from Yellow Bluff were fishing offshore.
The Coastal Conservation Association also had a fishing tournament at Yellow Bluff recently.
I did not get all of the results, but I did get a couple of fishing reports.
John Tabakian of the CCA and party landed five king mackerel and four Spanish mackerel.
I received a fishing report from Half Moon. I wish they would give me their fishing reports every week. Hub Powell, fishing with Wes Powell and Jeff Powell, landed four trout, four bass and one flounder.
Buddy Powell, fishing with Ken Wilkes, Kenny Paulk and Allen Croms, landed 17 bass and 16 trout. They were fishing with live shrimp and live minnows.
Well my friends, the fish are starting to bite and I believe we are going to have a good season.
Two rare breeds of fish caught by Don Branch in the Half Moon River; main grove snapper and gag grouper.
When you do go fishing, always remember to keep a tight line.
