The Future Farmers of America Officer Team from Bradwell Institute participated in the Building and Achieving Success in Chapters training program at the FFA/FCCLA Center in Covington.
BASIC is a field trip designed for any student organization interested in the improvement of team development.
Antonia Gorham, president of the FFA chapter, reported it was a great experience that promoted unity, trust, communication and confidence amongst the officers.
The two-day trip consisted of several team initiatives that included a low ropes and obstacle course, team recreation and most importantly chapter planning for the year.
BASIC training was represented by the following officers: President Antonia Gorham, Vice President Stephanie Scott, Secretary Briana Stutts, Parliamentarian Vincent Winbush, Treasurer Miranda Martin, Sentinel Chary Williams and Historian Kevin Cooke.
