The South Georgia Basketball League held a championship tournament Sunday at Myers Middle School in Savannah. The South Georgia Kings junior boys took the championship trophy by beating the Savannah Cobras, 57-50. Junior player Richard LeCounte (35) was recognized at the SGBL awards banquet for  earning his division’s MVP award.
