Martha Sue Darsey and George Ginter recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 5, 1951, at Hinesville Methodist Church.
George is retired from the U.S. Army. He spent many years working for Liberty County as a building inspector and county maintenance supervisor.
The Ginters have two daughters, Beverly Waters and Luanne Smith; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The couple marked the happy occasion by celebrating with family.
