Liberty County Recreation Department Youth Basketball Leagues went into playoffs this past week. Here are some results:

Pee-Wee Playoffs
Feb 10
Giants 22 - Bandits 6

Ismael Espada put up seven points to lead the Giants and Jimmy Richardson scored 4 points for the Bandits.

Sharks 24 - Midway 11
The top scorer for the Sharks was Terry Robinson who scored 14 points. Richard LeCounte scored eight points for Midway.

Feb. 12
Giant 28 - Wave 20

Ismael Espada was hot again putting up 12 points foe the Giants, followed by Duane Johnson with ten points. Daven Mitchell scored 11 points for the Waves.

Sharks 17- Force 10
Tarig Robertson scored eight points for the Sharks and Marguis Bennett scored four points for the Force.

Championship Game
Giants 18-Sharks 6

Jishaw Harris put up four points for the Sharks, but it was enough against the top scorer for the Giants, Ismael Espada who scored 12 points for the Giants.

Mite Boys Playoffs
Feb. 10
Bullets 32 - Ravens 3

Shavonnte Coats was the top scorer for the Bullets, putting 12 points on the board, followed by Darryl Johnson scoring ten. For the Ravens Marcail Gaulden put up three points.

Thunder 29 - Titans 13
Alexander Demmings scored 16 points for the Thunder. Joshua Powers scored 5 points for the Titans.

Rattlers 25 - Generals 7
The tops scorers for the Rattlers, Tre Dandy, putting up 11 points followed Dominique Story with ten. The Generals top scorer was LeDarien Priester with four points.

Bullets 32 - Midway 29
Walter Jeter and Sharonnte Coats each scored twelve points for the Bullets, while Jermiah Bacon scored eleven points for Midway.

Thunder 29-Rattlers 19
Eric Moore scored 13 points for the Thunder and Dominique Story scored 17 for the Rattlers.

Championship Game
Feb. 13
Bullets 25 - Thunder 23

Shavonnte Coats put up 17 points for the Bullets and Alexander Demmings scored twelve for the Thunder.

Mini-Pee Playoffs
Tigers 12-Hurricanes 4

Tyler Thomas put up four points for the Tigers, and Andre Carr scored two for the Hurricanes.

Shocker 14-Tigers 6
Jordan Gilliard scored eight points for the Shockers, while Jeremiah Purnell put up 4 points for the Tigers.

Bombers 17- Jaguars 8
Michael Jones scored 12 for the Bombers and Jared Richardson scored six for the Jaguars.

Championship Game
Feb. 13
Bombers 14 - Shockers 7

The Bombers take the championship with the help of Michael Jones who scored eight points. Tre’von Smith put up four, for the Shockers.

Mite Girls Playoff
Feb. 10
Stars 23 - Xplosion 12

Shaquoia Crockett hit the basket for 13 points against the Xplosion. Jaelynn James scored four points for the Xplosion.

Comets 8 - Lasers 3
Jakaria Fleming scored four points to help the Comets win against the Lasers. Akeyla Richardson put up two points for the Lasers.

Championship Game
Feb. 12
Stars 23 - Comets 11

The Stars win the championship game led by top scorer Shaquoia Crockett who scored 23 points. The top scorer for the Comets was Kakaria Fleming with nine points.

Midget Junior Girls Playoffs
Feb. 10
Wildcats 22 - Midway 21

Kayla Rocker scored 16 points for the Wildcats in their win over Midway. La’Shai Richardson scored six points for Midway.

Bobcats 29 - Rage 9
Jaree May-Weather hit the basket for 18 of the 29 points in the game against the Reage. Mikayla Lovett scored three for the Rage.

Wildcats 26-Diamonds 23
Kayla Rocker put up 14 points for the Wildcats, while Charlien Pierre scored 11 for the Diamonds.

Sparks 20 - Bobcats 18
Leitia Leiatava hit 15 points in the win against the Bobcats. Justine Liva led the Bobcats scoring 11 points.

Championship Game
Feb. 13
Sparks 28-Wildcats 13

Sadrina Sampson scored 17 points to lead the Sparks to a victory in the championship game against the Wildcats. Kayla Rocker scored 11 points for the Wildcats.
