Liberty, Long, Bradwell handed losses

POSTED: October 28, 2011 10:40 p.m.

Bradwell's defense held strong but Groves managed to score on a four yard run for the lone touchdown in Friday's game at Olvey Field. Tonight was the final game for the Tigers who end the regular season with a bye week next Friday.

It's been a tough season for the Long County Blue Tide. Tonight the Long County boys had a tough time holding back Tattnall County's offense falling 28-0 in Reidsville. The Blue Tide have one game left on their schedule hosting Toombs County next week in Ludowici.

As anticipated the battle between Libert County High School and Glynn Academy was close with just one touchdown deciding the winner. Glynn Academy came away with the 21-14 win. The Panthers do have one more game this season as they face Effingham County next week in a sub-region game.
