This area’s innovative teachers were honored by Coastal Electric Cooperative Thursday and Friday as its foundation handed out Bright Idea awards.
The cash scholarships are solicited by teachers who have specific ideas for classroom projects.
The foundation funds through Operation Roundup, which asks customers to round up their bills to the next dollar.
