Jaquez Motley scored 46 points in an 89-55 Faith Baptist Christian Academy win over Soaring Eagles Christian.

It was another busy night on the hardcourt Friday.
In Savannah, Bradwell’s Shaquoia Crockett scored 24 points to lead the Bradwell girls to a 63-47 over Jenkins High.
Crockett hit 15 of her 24 points in the first half of the game.
The Lady Tigers are 11-8 overall and 8-4 in Region 3-AAAAA.
In the boy’s contest at Jenkins, the Bradwell Tigers had a rough night in Savannah, losing to Jenkins 82-56.
Jenkins’ victory places the Warriors and the Tigers tied in third place in the region. The Tigers are 10-9 overall and 8-5 in region action. Dazjon Tinae paced the boys with 18 points, Miguel Pineda drained 15 and Jalen Watson scored 10.
In Ludowici, the Long County High School boys’ basketball team continued its winning ways by beating Brantley County in Ludowici. 
The Blue Tide defeated the Herons in a one-sided thumping, 65-37. 
With the victory, the Tide boys now have won eight of their past nine games, improving their overall record to 13-6 and their 2-AA record to 10-2. 
Currently the Blue Tide is holding on to the second spot in the 2-AA Region, two and a half games behind Vidalia (19-2 overall).
Tattnall County (11-10) sits in the third spot at 9-4 and McIntosh County (9-12) rounds out the top four at 8-5.
The Tide faced another region opponent in Ludowici when Pierce County came to town. The Bears went into that game struggling, at 1-17 overall and 0-11 in the region. This Friday the Blue Tide have a rematch with Brantley County in Nahunta at 8 p.m., immediately after the Lady Tide game at 6:30 p.m.

The Faith Baptist Christian Academy boys’ basketball team has won its last eight games in a row and is 18-5 overall.
The Crusaders came back from the holiday break to win their first four games, including a 79-69 win against First Presbyterian Christian Academy on Jan. 10. Since then, FBCA has added four more wins.
First Presbyterian Christian Academy’s boys’ squad lost its first Georgia Independent School Association Region 2-AA game of the season Tuesday night.
The Highlanders traveled to Frederica Academy on St. Simons Island, where they lost 58-41. The Highlanders are 8-9 overall and 3-1 in the region.
