Feb. 5: The housesitter for a residence on Gen. Stewart Way reported the theft of a flat-screen television valued at $700 from the home.

• Three women reported having a gun waved at them by a man who followed them home from a restaurant on East Oglethorpe Highway after two of the women engaged in a verbal altercation with the man and his female companion. Police pulled over a vehicle matching the description given by the women and retrieved two handguns from the man’s vehicle. The man denied waving any weapon at the women and told police they followed him from the restaurant.

Feb. 6

• Police charged a man with DUI refusal, driving with a revoked license and improper lane usage after conducting a traffic stop at Live Oak Road and Highway 196. The vehicle was observed being driven erratically and the driver refused a DUI consent, but consented to a search of his car. Several open containers were found, as well as a baggie of marijuana and a grinder in the purse of one passenger, who was cited by police for possession.
