A Hinesville man was killed around 5 a.m. Friday morning in a single-vehicle accident in Long County, according to GSP Trooper William Bowman and Adam Denton.

The victim, identified as Dwayne Greene, 26,  reportedly was traveling between 70-80 mph on Arnold Drive near Pearl Davis Road when he lost control of his 1995 Pontiac Grand Am while rounding a curve, according to Bowman.

The vehicle veered off the road, struck four trees and rolled over once. Greene, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected several feet from where the car came to rest, according to the troopers.
