Feb. 9: An elementary school on Airport Road reported the theft of an iPad valued at $900.

• Police cited a man for possession of marijuana after conducting a traffic stop for suspended registration on West Oglethorpe Highway. Marijuana was seen in plain view in the vehicle.

• A student at Bradwell Institute was charged with distributing marijuana within 100 feet of a school after the principal was tipped off to his possession of the drug. The student was found with a baggie of marijuana on his person and admitted to selling some to another student.

Feb. 10
• A resident of West Oglethorpe Highway told police his girlfriend may have taken $1,700 worth of his personal property, including a television, speakers, watch and groceries while he was in jail.

• Police cited a man for possession of marijuana after finding him asleep behind the wheel of his parked vehicle at a convenience store on East Oglethorpe Highway. Marijuana was found in the vehicle during a search and the driver also smelled strongly of alcohol.

Feb. 11
• A resident of Frank Cochran Drive reported his wallet, keys and cell phone missing after hosting a party at his home. The resident told police he believed a houseguest may have taken the items, valued at $771, while he was asleep.

• Police cited a man for fleeing, DUI and possession of marijuana after responding to a report of a hit-and-run near Glenn Bryant Road. The driver displayed physical signs of intoxication and smelled strongly of marijuana.

Feb. 13
• A student at an elementary school on Long Frasier Drive was arrested for possessing a weapon on school grounds after displaying a knife to other students in the bathroom.

• A resident of South Main Street reported a burglary in which a television valued at $700 was stolen. The resident told police she believed her ex-husband may have taken the TV.

• A resident of West Gen. Screven Way reported the theft of a van, valued at $8,000, from the parking lot of a restaurant on E.G. Miles Parkway.
