P.J. Schneider won first place at the Liberty County Bass Club tournament March 10 at Clark’s Hill, near Pointes West Army Resort on Fort Gordon.
Snider caught five fish that had a combined weight of 7.21 pounds.
Ron Welch took second with five fish that weighed 6.94 pounds.
The big fish award went to Richard Hughes, who caught a 4.13-pound bass.
The club’s next tournament is in April at Lake Tobaski in Macon.
