Here are some of the issues that area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously, so the Courier does not vouch for their veracity, nor do we know what motivated the callers:

To the person who complained about the school bus driver also being a para-pro: You can go ahead and get an application on Airport Road to become a school bus driver. We always need good school bus drivers, so there will be a job for you, too.

Why is it that so many people ignore the 35 mph when flashing sign in the school zone? People fly past me every day just because there’s not a police man there.

I think there needs to be an investigation when a niece has her uncle’s will changed a week before he dies and he’s not in his right mind and cuts his daughter out of the will.

I would like for somebody to explain to me why the mosquito trucks are not running. If they can’t hire anybody to run the trucks, I’ll help run them. Or hire helicopters to spray. The politicians ought to get up off of their backsides and help with these skeeters.

In response to the person that wrote about the HBO movie “Game Change,” I am sure that he is also a big Michael Moore fan.
