JESUP — The Georgia Department of Transportation is restricting construction-related lane closures from 5 a.m. Saturday, June 30, through 5 a.m. Monday, July 9.

“We anticipate heavy traffic over the Independence Day holiday week, and we would like to make it a little easier for them to arrive at their destination in a safe and timely matter. Our No. 1 goal is to provide motorists with a safe transportation system,” said Karon Ivery, Georgia DOT Jesup District engineer.
