Kale’a Janae Kates was born on Feb. 7 at 4:56 a.m. to Latisha Hightower of Arlington and Donte Kates of Hinesville. She was born at Liberty Regional Medical Center and weighed seven pounds, nine ounces. Her maternal grandparents are Patricia and James Hightower of Arlington and her paternal grandparents are Roy and Brenda Kates of Hinesville. She is welcomed by her uncles, Donovan, Demetrius and DaShawn Kates of Hinesville and Shannon Hill of Arlington and his aunt Akeiba of Arlington.
