Candlelight vigil for missing woman

POSTED: January 17, 2008 5:02 a.m.
Despite chilly temperatures, family members and friends of Deborah Gail Moody held a candlelight vigil at Gum Branch Baptist Church on Thursday evening.
Moody, who has been missing for more than three weeks, was last seen on Dec. 4 at about 6 p.m. Her family reported her missing to the authorities Dec. 10.
A letter was read from the family to “thank everyone here tonight to support Gail’s safe return home.”
Moody was described as being a self-sufficient person who likes to be with nature.
Anyone who has information or questions is asked to call Long County Sheriff’s Office Detective Ty Smith at 545-2118 or the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Kingsland Office at (912) 729-6198.
