SOCIAL CIRCLE, Ga. — Georgia is setting aside a week in October for deer hunters who use bows, muzzle-loading rifles and other primitive firearms.
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources says the designated deer season for primitive weapons starts Oct. 13. Licensed hunters can harvest up to 10 deer without antlers and no more than two deer with antlers.
