Prep roundup: BI, LC fall

Bradwell Institute is still seeking that elusive first win as Jenkins edged out a 26-14 victory at Memorial Stadium Friday night. In Bacon County, the Long County Blue Tide managed to keep things close but the Raiders were able to enjoy their homecoming night with a 34-21 win.

Tigers at Warriors
Bradwell Institute fell to 0-5 overall and 0-2 in Region 3-AAAAA after losing 26-14 to Jenkins on Friday night at Memorial Stadium.  
The Tigers got touchdowns from DeAndre Day and Marquise Parker. Day scored on an 18-yard run and Parker scored on a 58-yard TD pass from LaBaron Anthony. Robert Miller made both extra point kicks for the Tigers, who trailed throughout the game. Jenkins improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 on the region.

Long County at Bacon County
Bacon County knocked off Long County 34-21 on Friday night in Alma. The loss dropped the Blue Tide to 3-3 overall and 2-3 in Region 2-AA.
