The Long County High School football team got back on the winning track Friday by shutting out Jeff Davis High School in Hazlehurst.
Led by a three touchdown performance by Josh Berry, the Blue Tide manhandled the Yellow Jackets 48-0. The Blue Tide improved their overall record to 4-4 and their Region 2-AA mark to 3-4. The Yellow Jackets dropped to 2-6 overall and 1-6 in the region.
The win insures that the Blue Tide will post its most region wins since the football program began in 2002.
