The Hinesville/Fort Stewart Shrine Club’s 27th annual golf tournament is Nov. 17 at Taylors Creek Golf Course on Fort Stewart. The tournament is a four-person scramble and open to men and women. Registration is $50 per person; deadline is Nov. 14. The first 100 applicants will play. For more information, call Wayne Barnes at 977-4781 or James Williams at 977-8445.

Register now for body sculpting
Registration is under way for women’s body sculpting at the Liberty County Recreation Department. Classes are from 5-6 p.m. each Monday and Wednesday through Dec. 12, at the Liberty County High School weight room. The instructor is Liberty County High School track coach Keith McGee, a USAW-certified coach. The cost is $60. For information, call 876-5359.

Gift of Giving to Life 5K run/walk set
The Hinesville Police Department is hosting the inaugural Gift of Giving to Life 5K run/walk starting at 8 a.m. Nov. 17. The event will benefit the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Coastal Georgia. Registration is $20 per person or $15 per person for groups of four or more. For more information, call 368-8211.
