June 7: Criminal trespass — A resident in the 7000 block of E.B. Cooper Highway in Riceboro reportedly found the screen from her window was removed and the window was busted after hearing a loud noise in her backyard around 3 p.m. When she investigated the noise, the complainant saw two people dressed in black running toward the front of the house.

June 9: Burglary — A Midway resident in the 700 block of Clubhouse Drive reported a $200 Nintendo Wii, controllers and four video games were stolen between 5:30 p.m. June 8 and 2:30 p.m. June 9.

June 13: Theft by taking — A Liberty County Health Department employee reported a $699 Apple iPad was taken from her office. She reportedly had a visitor in her office around 11:30 a.m. and left to speak with a co-worker. When she returned, the visitor said he needed to use the restroom but never returned. Shortly after, the employee noticed the device was missing.

Burglary — An employee of the National Discount Auto Center on E.G. Miles Parkway reported that the lock had been pried from the business’ door when she arrived around 9 a.m. She also noticed an estimated $12 in change and bills were missing from a desk.

June 14: Suspicious acts — A resident in the 600 block of Live Oak Church Road in Hinesville reported the flowers in her yard have been taken several times, and she believed a neighbor was stealing the flowers as well as her rake and shovel. The neighbor told officers the two had an agreement that the neighbor could borrow the complainant’s shovel and rake and denied taking the flowers. The complainant said she has seen the flowers in her neighbor’s yard and believes the flowers are now inside the neighbor’s home.
