Under the leadership of Executive Director Debra Williams, the Hinesville Housing Authority participated in Liberty County’s community cleanup day Oct. 20.

Neighbors and the Hinesville Housing Authority staff got together to work toward a nicer and cleaner community, HHA officials said.

In the morning, they picked up debris to improve the look of the community, all while having fun in the process.

Kids, adults and various leaders united not only to clean the community, but also to demonstrate that residents can make a difference.

After they finished cleaning, they gathered for a barbecue to celebrate their hard work.
