Over at East Georgia College, the Bobcats, who feature four players from the Courier’s coverage area, are 10-0 going into their Christmas break.
The men’s team also is 4-0 in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association after beating Georgia Highlands, 92-57, on Dec. 12 in their final conference game before the break. According to the school’s athletic website, the Bobcats led at the half, 40-28, and pulled away in the second half, led primarily by former First Presbyterian Christian Academy basketball player Jordan Johnson.
