POSTED: February 1, 2013 3:30 p.m.

Jan. 10 Simple battery — A couple argued in the middle of the intersection at Live Oak Church and Griffin Park roads about their three small children, two of whom were in the car during the argument. The man said his girlfriend slapped his arm and pushed him, but he didn’t want to pursue charges. The woman said the man yelled but never touched her in a harmful way. She added that she had custody of all three kids.
Civil matter — A woman claiming she was entitled to receive some old photographs based on a will was asked to leave a Stewart Road residence by deputies and the homeowner. Deputies told the woman she would have to file proper paperwork and get a court order to get the photographs. The homeowner claims she doesn’t have the photos to begin with.
Simple battery, family violence — A woman claimed her husband was drunk when he pushed her down on the bed and later pulled her into the hallway and down on the floor, leaving her with scratches on her neck and arms. Deputies said they found the husband walking along Lake Gale Drive. The husband said he was defending himself after his wife jumped on his back. The deputies tested the man’s blood-alcohol content and determined he was not intoxicated.
