Jan. 26: Entering automobile — A complainant in the 1100 block of Ruben Wells Road reported that someone had entered his residence though an unlocked back door and went through several rooms.
Someone also had reportedly entered his truck in the front yard.
It appeared the offender was looking for something, but the complainant was not sure whether anything was missing.

DUI —  A man was arrested for DUI on East Oglethorpe Highway in Flemington after a patrol deputy observed the driver pass the fog line several times and initiated a traffic stop. The driver blew a .116.

Jan. 28
Criminal trespass — A resident in the 70 block of Midway’s Garmin Lane said she found her garage door open and its frame damaged after her security alarm sounded.
Deputies verified that there was severe damage to the door frame, which was locked but open, but they said there was no obtainable evidence at the scene. A search of the area did not produce any suspects.

Burglary — A complainant in the 200 block of Dogwood Lane in Midway reported that someone removed several items overnight from the bed of his truck, which was covered by a glass camper shell and locked. Deputies reported pry marks on the vehicle but no other evidence. Items stolen from the bed include $650 in designer suits, a $250 flat-screen TV, $150 in down pillows from Germany and a $200 battery-powered tool set.

Suspicious activities — A complainant on Limerick Road in Midway said her daughter received a text that read, “I hid the body now what,” from a number she did not recognize.

Criminal trespass — A mobile home resident in the lot at 413 Live Oak Church Road said a grill was stolen from outside the yard while she was away. The woman said she has been in the process of moving and thinks perhaps a neighbor stole the grill, which she purchased for $260.
