The rain stopped long enough Tuesday for the Bradwell Institute soccer teams to sweep Effingham County in region matchups at Effingham.
The Lady Tigers beat Effingham, 2-1, and the Tigers claimed a 3-2 win. Both Bradwell squads are 2-0 overall and 1-0 in Region 3-AAAAA.
Last week, the Tigers  beat Brunswick 2-1 and the Lady Tigers beat the Lady Pirates 5-1.
Bradwell hosts Jenkins tonight, with the girls starting things at 5 and the boys’ game following.
