Plunderful hosted a grand opening and ribbon cutting in conjunction with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce on Feb. 27 at 170 Butler Ave. in Midway.
Owner Jimmy Fullwood welcomed staff, family, friends, vendors, ambassadors, chamber staff and members  and people from the community to the event.
“I got started in this business by chance: by selling items on eBay. I laid the foundation for Plunderful, but the customers built the business,” Fullwood said. “I wanted to open this business to show young people in the community that if you put your mind to something, you can do anything.”
Fullwood describes Plunderful as a compliment to his second-hand, recycled furniture store, Plunder Box. There is more than furniture available for purchase in Plunderful.
The store currently hosts 44 vendors who rent space for one month at a time to sell everything from one-of-a-kind coffee tables to little girls’ hair bows.
The store is set up flea-market style, but it is enclosed.
“On behalf of the chamber, we would like to welcome you as a new member. We appreciate your joining the chamber and congratulate you on your opening,” said chamber CEO Leah Poole.
Plunderful is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1-6 p.m. Sunday.
For more information, find Plunderful on Facebook or call 884-4012.
