The Scott’s All*Stars seventh-grade team placed second in the fourth annual Mother’s Day Tournament in Hinesville.

The Scott’s All*Stars sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade basketball teams competed in the fourth annual Mother’s Day Tournament, held May 11-12 in Hinesville, with the seventh-graders earning second place in their division.
The tournament, which was hosted by the All*Stars, featured teams from Savannah, Brunswick, Liberty County and Atlanta. In all, 12 teams competed in the tournament.
“This was a very successful tournament,” All*Stars coach Marcus Scott IV said.

First-place winners
Sixth grade: Savannah Thunder
Seventh grade: Savannah Thunder
Eighth grade: Coastal Crew Rebels
Second-place teams
Sixth grade: Savannah Vipers
Seventh grade: Scott’s All*Stars
Eighth grade: Atlanta Celtics (Savannah)
