Cmdr. Keith Douglas, TRIDENT Refit facility planning officer, and Bill Johnson, a fourth-year apprentice in TRF’s electrical-repair shop, joined representatives from area colleges, universities, military recruiters and local police and emergency-response officials recently at Long County High School for career day.
Douglas and Johnson presented information to nearly 100 sophomores, juniors and seniors during four presentations, emphasizing potential career opportunities at TRF, which is part of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay
“It is a rewarding experience to highlight the special talent and capabilities of the TRF workforce. Opportunities to speak to the future of our workforce in this capacity are critical to growth in any organization,” Douglas said.
