I want to know why the board of education has so many new high-paying jobs at the board office, and classified and certified employees are having to take furloughs. I want to know why taxpayers’ money is being wasted.

Beware whoever is stealing batteries, glass and tires and doing bad things to people on Isle of Wight. We’re not going to put up with it. Stay off of our property in Isle of Wight.

I don’t understand why the board of education says we need to take six furlough days and they don’t even coincide with the military holidays. Why are the furlough days on Tuesday when the military — most of our community — has to take off federal holidays, which consist of Friday and Monday, not Monday and Tuesday.

I would like to know why did the board of education change the graduation from Saturday morning to Saturday night? Everything was working perfectly until now, so I do not understand why they did that.

I would think that it would be better to have the graduation on a Saturday morning as opposed to Saturday night for Liberty County High School. It’s much safer for the families traveling and for the kids. Can anyone help me understand what’s going on?
