Jane Cart opened the meeting with a devotional on Thanksgiving, with passages from Psalms and Philippians.
Blair Faulk of St. Joseph’s/Candler Home Health Care was the featured speaker. He and his wife, Becky, and their children spent 17 years as Southern Baptist missionaries in Nigeria, practicing health care. Blair Faulk is a native of Garden City.
Goldenheirs will meet at noon Dec. 3 at the church, 220 E. Memorial Drive, for a Christmas luncheon catered by Southern Image. Those planning to attend are encouraged to make reservations by Wednesday. Goldenheirs officers have tickets for the event. Everyone is welcome.
