Nov. 25: Theft by taking, misdemeanor — A deputy was dispatched to the scene of a reported theft at Oak Creek and Little Oak roads. A man claimed someone had stolen his deer stand, which had been attached to a tree on the hunting land he owns. The man said he had been having problems with neighbors trespassing on his property. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources was made aware of the situation.

Nov. 26
Theft by taking, felony — A deputy was dispatched to Riceboro City Hall regarding stolen manhole covers on Peter King Road. A city employee told the deputy that five covers had been stolen, and they cost the city $300 each. The employee was given a case number and a copy of the report.

Nov. 27
Verbal dispute — Deputies responded to a domestic dispute that reportedly had turned physical on Pulaski Street. The female victim said the alleged offender had been drinking when he drove to the store in her vehicle, went inside and left the vehicle running in the parking lot. The victim said she went to the store and took her vehicle home. Both parties said the events led to an argument, but they denied any physical confrontations. The deputies saw no evidence of injuries, and the man and woman agreed to separate themselves. One deputy gave the woman a ride to a mobile-home park, where she planned to stay.
