Midway Police Chief Kelli Morningstar’s 16-year-old daughter reportedly is still missing.

Alexis Maureen Morningstar has not been seen since 7:45 a.m. Monday morning, when her mother dropped her off at Liberty County High School, according to Midway Police Officer Duvale Page, who is personally offering a $1,000 reward for any information leading to Alexis Morningstar's return. The teen, who was wearing a white shirt and khaki pants, was seen by other students exiting the school soon after she was dropped off.

Alexis Morningstar is 5 feet-8, weighs 145 pounds and has blue eyes and black hair. She does not have her cellphone with her, and there has been no activity on her social-media pages for several days.

Anyone with information should call the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office at 876-2131 or the Midway police at 880-1000.
